Officer Gutierrez of the Santa Barbara Police Department has recommended that we inform residents of EHIA that last Saturday, February 11 at 5 am there were sightings of someone attempting to break into homes in and around Alston Rd. and Norman Lane. Be alert. Contact the police department if you see any unusual activity.
If you leave your home
during the day, remember to lock all windows and doors. If you are away
overnight or longer, let your neighbors know of your absence and ask them to
keep an eye on your home while you're away. Leaving someone in the neighborhood
with an emergency phone number where you can be contacted is also a very good
idea. If you are at home and notice "unusual activity" in our
neighborhood, do not hesitate to call the SBPD's non-emergency number: 897-2410.
